Mammootty for another double role

The craze for Mammootty to don competing and difficult characters is well known. Adding to this list of his known works  will be director Pramod Payyannur's version of 'BalayakalaSakhy'.

The take on the famous work from Malayalam literature will feature Mammootty in twin roles. He will appear as the lead character Majeed and also as his father. The lookout for a suitable face to play the role of Suhra is still on, though some unconfirmed reports suggests that the makers have zeroed in on Isha Shervani for the role.The movie will be on sets by the end of this year.

Dileep came to this movie after a very good 2012 season while Mammootty came with a comparatively bad 2012 season in which only Bavuttyude Namathil and Thappana managed to just reach the hit status. This movie managed to get a very good initial from its first week and it was the main source of revenue for this movie. Mammoottys fans were satisfied only from Emmanuel even though Mammootty managed to get 3 hits in last 1 year and they strongly believes that Emmanuel will mark the end of Mammootty's bad form. This movie is still running in theaters and also its maintaining a good collection too and surely this movie will reach top second or third position after its final run. Mammootty to speak Manglish

It was earlier reported that Mammoottywas all set to start the films with V K Prakash and Pramod Payyanur, this year itself. 

In a surprising reversal of priorities, Mammootty will soon join the sets of a new movie by  relatively new director after his movie on production 'Daivathinte Swantham Ceelatus'. Yes, the star will soon start speaking Manglish in the  movie titled the same directed by Salam Palapetty , who debuted with a 'Red Wine' this year. This new flick to be produced by Muhammed Haneef in the banner of Red Rose creations will be scripted by journalist K P Riyas. The movie will have Mammootty in a humorous character .

The farmer in Mammootty

Mammootty is known as a man who is always ready to support humanitarian causes and public service promotions. But not many has identified the farmer in him, though he had written in length about his family background and childhood amidst agriculture. The superstar was seen as a real farmer, in style, when he found some time yesterday to have some rounds on his tractor in his own vast plot near Kottayam. He announced his intention in serious paddy cultivation, bringing in a rare , almost extinct seed type named  'Chenkazhama'  for his cultivation. According to Mammootty, this seed has an inherent capacity to fight the weeds that attack it and to grow extremely well without any chemical manure. Mammootty likes to name this form of cultivation as a purely natural one and would like to propagate this to more areas in Kerala.

Mammootty thought of having a quiet day out on his paddy fields , but as the superstar stepped on to the field, workers from other fields also poured in to have a look of their favorite actor.  He was suddenly amidst flashbulbs and TV cameras, and then he  took this opportunity to send a valid message about agriculture.  Mamootty also added that he has tried farming in Tamil Nadu earlier, with success.

V K P with Mammootty

The announcements of V K P films has no longer turned a big news as it happens every now and then, each year. The director who has been named on who makes and announced maximum movies every year, but have a worthy announcement to make this week. Yes, the proponent of experimental and new generation stuffs is soon to team up with Megastar Mammootty for a films.

This new movie will be scripted by Y V Rajesh, who is known for his suspenseful climaxes in various films. V K P is going through a rough patch in his carer with all his new films not earning theatrical revenues as expected. While his recent 'Thankyou' was a big flop at the box office, his 'Netholli Cheriya menalla' was only applauded among the high class audience. Mammootty back with Siddhique

After that average earner in 'Ladies and Gentleman', director Siddhique will  soon team up with Mammoottty for a new project. The director who is busy with some remakes of his Malayalam films in Hindi, including that of 'Vietnam Colony'  has already talked with Mammootty about a plot that was given green signal by the megastar.

The duo will sit together soon to discuss more about the project. The  two earlier films that had Mammootty and SIddhique together 'Hitler' and "Chronic Bachelor' were runaway hits . The director will be trying not to repeat the mistakes of his latest Malayalam film in his new project with Mammootty, thus trying to make a hatrick win, out of the combination.
