It's Reenu again for Mammootty

• Reenu Mathews debuted with Mammootty's Emmanuel and it was a success. Now the actress will again join Mammootty for the film, Praise the Lord directed by Shibu Gangadharan. This is the director's debut film. 
  
  It is said that the movie is an adaptation of Paul Zachariah's novel by the same name. The film deals with the relationships of individuals with traditional Christian families in Pala as the backdrop.
  
  Mammootty enacts a rich farmer from Pala and Reenu plays his wife's role. The movie is said to be a social satire and is expected to go on the floors in November.

Mammootty in Shyamaprasad's Next

After making an impressive comeback with his recent "Artist', director Shyamaprasad will have his next movie with Megastar Mammootty . The duo who have united together earlier for 'Ore Kadal' will be donning the role of a taxi driver in Shyamaprasad's new film.A road movie,  this project will have Joshua Newton penning the scriptlines. Joshua had been the writer of Shyamapasad's biggest hit till now 'Rithu' which appeared half a decade ago.

Meanwhile,  Shyamaprasad's Artist has earned applauds from critics and cinephiles. The movie which has Fahadh Faasil playing the role of a blind painter , has opened well in the metro centres.

Mammootty elected as Chairman of Kairali TV

• Actor Mammootty has been elected as the Chairman of Kairali TV recently. John Brittas is the managing director of the channel. Advocate AA Rasheed has stepped out of the director board. PA Sidharth Menon, PT Kunchumuhammad, CK Karunakarn, A Vijayaraghavan, VK Muhammad Ashraf, MM Monai, TR Ajayan and AK Moosa have been re-elected to the director board. 
  
  On the film front, Mammootty's Kunjananthate Kada is running successfully. His upcoming films are Deivathinte Swantham Cleetus, Balyakalasakhi, The Gangster and Black Investigators.
