Aadivasa Raja arrives to thank Mammootty
It was exactly an year ago, the Raja of Kovilmala,Mannan Raja Mannan arrived to see the Mollywood Raja Mammootty. Amidst the talk, he also presented some demands that the megastar could fulfill for his people.
Yesterday , when the Raja arrived once again to the sets of Mammootty's 'Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus' , he was a happy man, with much of the demands getting completed with the aid of 'Care and Share Foundation' an organisation headed by Mammootty, working for social support causes.
In the one year that passed in between, Care and Share has organised almost a dozen heart disease treatment camps under the programme 'Poorvikam',which helped at least a hundred Aadivasis to diagnose and treat their heart related ailments. In addition to that, the foundation also organised many eye care camps and offered educational support for many tribal students .
The Mannan raja who thanked Mammootty and his organisation for the support also received the first kits of uniform materials provided to the tribal children by the foundation. Mammootty , while talking on the occasion considered this as an opportunity to give back to the men who maintains the mother nature intact. He also asked raja to take measures to control the growing addiction to tobacco and other drugs among the tribal people.
