Tuesday, 22 April , 2008, 18:43 Among the Vishu releases, Mammootty's Annan Thambi has taken the best ever opening with a distributors share of Rs 1.07 crore in four days from 75 screens. It is a new opening record for any film in Kerala, and is the clear number one. At number two is Mohanlal's Innathe Chintavishayam, which had preferred to go for a limited release with only 42 stations. The film is a hit and in the long run will out gross the other film. In the third position is Mulla, which has fallen badly with the release of new films. Cycle continues its balancing act with the family audiences and is at number four. In the fifth position is Katha Parayumbol, the old favourite which continues to chug along. Note : Ratings are based on the box office collections and the cost of the film

One Way Ticket’ completes its major schedule IndiaGlitz [Wednesday, April 23, 2008] ‘One Way Ticket' which hogged headlines due to its surprise cast, in which Superstar Mammootty is appearing for the first time with the young star Prithviraj has just completed its major schedule of shooting.
The film will go for another final ten day shoot at Hyderabad.
Mammootty has done a short cameo, donning the role of reel life Superstar .He completed his part in the movie in three days.
This Prithviraj starrer directed by Bibin Prabhakar in the scripts of Babu Janardhanan, will hit the screens on the first week of June.
