Meera in ‘Pokkiri Raja’

Meera Jasmine always had a shaky and irregular career in every film industries of the South. A talented actress who had even won a National award, she had been reported as a problem artist in some sets. But the immense powers house of emoting talents in her had helped her for a comeback, whenever she was sent off for petty reasons from any south Indian language.

Thus Meera who had some rifts with the artist associations and filmmakers of Malayalam had been keeping away from Mollywood, working with her projects in Telugu and Kannada. The actress who has recently returned to Mollywood to shoot for the new Rajeev Anchal movie, tentatively titled as 'Paattinte Paalazhy' has been approached for the heroine role in the new Mammootty movie 'Pokkiri Raja'. The actress is reported to have agreed to do the role, though for a high price.

The movie to be directed by debutante Vysakh Abraham will also feature Prithviraj in an important role.
