The film was greeted with thoughtful vigor by the fans of the star who has been awaiting his Mass role for a long time. Chattampi Nadu started its first show at 9:00 AM in many centers. The movie is registering full houses in almost all centers and is certainly in the lead among the new releases.
The film which have half a dozen charged scenes have Mammootty with a powerful screen presence and in another mesmerizing character as 'Virendara Mallaya', who again proves that he is the best mass hero in Malayalam film industry.
