Breaking news:Pazhassiraja Delayed Again !

Malayalam´s first world class movie Pazhassi Raja by M T Vasudevan and Hariharan featuring Mammootty in the title role is to be delayed again. Gokulam Films, the producers of the filmhad planned to release the film on October 2nd, the day of Gandhi Jayanti and they had announced the same as well. But now it seems that the movie would release only on October 16.Pazhassi Raja would be releasing in most of the major languages like Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in as many as 560 theatres. Another highlight is that Mammootty has rendered voice for his title character Pazhassi Raja in all thelanguages. The dubbing process for otherlanguages excluding Malayalam and Tamil has not been completed and this happens to be the major obstacle in the worldwide release of Pazhassi Raja. In America itself Pazhassi Raja would release in as many as 20 theatres and that is indeed a welcome sign.
Audio release of the most expected and expensive film Pazhassi raja was held in a grand manner on Sep 20 in Gokulam Park Inn, Kaloor. The stage was filled with many celebrities, film unit and a real member of Pazhasi Raja Family.
The big event started exactly at 7pm when actress Padmapriya started giving the introduction about Pazhasi Raja. Following that MGS, Ressool Pookkutti and Manjari came to the stage to perform the songs from the film.. MGS sung a song `oru maapilla paatu´ from the movie and the video clipping of the same song was played after that. Next a song from the movie sung by Chitra and then the song was played in the screens. That song is a good melody to hear again and again.
Yesudas sung the next song `Aadhi ushassandhya pootha pole´ and this song surely will be the best of all the songs in the film. Lyrics of the songs were composed extremely well. After the songs the most expected trailer was shown in the screen which was truly awesome with a Hollywood touch. Every bit of the 3 minute trailer was a masterpiece and was enjoyed well by the viewers.
Lalu Alex specially requested to play the trailer and the song `Aadhi ushassandhya pootha pole´ again at the end of the event. After the trailer everyone were called to the stage to present the audio cassettes. Mammootty presented the audio CD to Sarath Kumar who has played an important role of Edachena Kunkan, the chief lieutenant of Pazhassi Raja. Then Lalu Alex, Gokulam Gopalan, Manoj K Jayn, Sarath Kumar, Mammootty and all of them in stage gave a good speech. The program got over by 10pm and Gokulam Gopalan presented the dinner to all.
