Srank' has been selected for Pusan International Film Festival in South
Korea, beginning on October 8. The Mammootty starrer, which tells the
story of a boatman from the perspective of three women, was screened at
the Montreal film festival earlier this month, Shaji said.
The
first Malayalam movie produced by 'Reliance Big Pictures,' the female
characters in the film are done by Padmapriya, Kamalini Mukherjee and
Sri Lankan actress Meenakumari.
The film also stands out as it introduces the first woman cinematographer in Malayalam through Anjali Shukla.
