The recent skirmishes between various associations in cinema and release bans that was introduced a few weeks ago, has suddenly made July, one of busiest months for movie release. As the present problems between associations are likely to end by this week itself, the movies will start their release from the ninth of this month.
The long pending movies like Mohanlal's 'Oru Naal Varum' and Jayasuriyas's 'Nallavan' will be the first film to break into theaters after a silence of two months.
By the 16th of this month, three small youth movies including 'Malarvady arts Club', Sibi Malayil's 'Apoorva Raagam' and Shebi Chabvalkks's 'Plus Two' will also see light. Mammootty's big budget bilingual 'Vande Matharam' will also be in theatres by the end of third week of July.
Reliance has already announced their intention to get 'Kutty Shranku' again with Mammootty, on theaters by the 23rd of this month. July will also witness the release of movies like 'Paattinte Paalazhy', 'Sakudumbam Shyaamala', 24 Hours and 'Oridathoru Postman' by the final weeks of July.
The busy schedules of the month will make it difficult for many smaller movies to get to theaters and will force some of the distributors of these movies to shift some flicks to August.
