Khushboo was last seen in Malayalam in a remarkable role in 'Kayyoppu', the much acclaimed film directed by Ranjith.
She had played Mammootty's romantic interest in the film.
Now she is back in a stellar role in another film being directed by Ranjith, 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint', that again has the Megastar doing the lead role.
Khushboo is believed to be playing a role of great importance in the film, though she might not play the actor's love interest. Priyamani is the heroine of the film.
