Ten films for this December

The month of December will be a heavily congested season for film releases in Mollywood. At least ten films including some from the biggies are planning to make a try at the Box Office, this month.

This weekend, that is on third and fourth of December, five films are planning to be in the fray. The major movie in the offering will be Renjith's 'Palery Maanikyam'-Oru Pathira Kolapathainte Katha' featuring Mammootty in triple roles. The other films for the weekend will include Jayaram's 'My Big Father', Namitha-Bala-Kalabhavan Mani's 'Black Stallion' directed by Pramod -Pappan, VK Prakash's Jayasuriya –Kunchacko Boban movie, 'Gulumal-The Escape' and Shankar Panikkar's 'Keralotsavam 2009'.

The other films planned for this December will include Dileep's Siddhique movie 'Bodyguard', Mohanlal's 'Ivide Swargamaanu' and Mammootty's 'Chattambinaadu'. The last two biggies are charted for this Christmas season, to fight out with Saji Surendran's multistarrer 'Happy Husbands'. Two offbeat ventures that may get to theatres this month, will include Mammootty's 'Kutty Shranku' and Priyanandanan's 'Sufi Paranja Katha'.

With such a heavy release schedules, chances are that some of the films in this list may postpone their release dates to the first weeks of January, which is normally a season of few movies.
