Ind-Aus:ODI ticket sale started by Mammootty...

Kochi: Malayalam Film actor Mammootty on Wednesday released the tickets for sale for the Oct 17 one day cricket match between India and Australia at the JawaharLal Nehru staidum by handing them over to Federal bank Managing Director and CEO Shyam Srinivasan.

The first sale was affected by Srinivasan by handing over a ticket to M A Mohammed, Chairman of Oberon Mall here.


The tickets Rs. 300, Rs. 1000, Rs. 2000, Rs. 3000 and Rs. 5000 would be sold through various designated branches of the Federal bank.

The ticket sales would be open to the public from Thursday to Oct 14. On Oct 15 and Oc 16 special sale would be held. On the match day on Oct 17, tickets would be available at the bank`s Palarivattom branch, Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) press release said.

Students and women spectators would get a discount on tickets. Over the counter, maximum only 5 tickets can be purchased per person.

KCA Secretary, T C Mathew, were among those present.
