Mammootty seems to be over dependent on the writer - director Renjith ever after the later helped him to find a hit in 'Bavoottiyude Namathil'. The latest grapevine tells that Mammootty will join Renjith once again for his next flick 'Leela'. Originally schedule to kick start this month with Shanker Ramakrishnan in the lead, the shoot for the movie may now be pushed to April to have Mamootty in its casts. Their combination has earlier produced many critically acclaimed films like 'Kayyoppu', 'Pranjiyettan and the Saint'.
'Leela', based on the famous short story by R Unni of the same title, will have director Shyama Prasad handling the music section. As per original schedules Ann Augustine was supposed to do the lead role in the movie, but it is not yet known whether their will be any change in the name of the heroine since Mammootty has walked in to the project. .
'Leela' is produced under Ranjith's Capitol Theatres.
