Though she irked many with her makeup and performance in 'Ladies and Gentleman', Meera Jasminewill get another opportunity to prove herself in the new Aashiq Abu movie 'Gangster'.Meera will be cast opposite Megastar Mammootty in this movie which will be a thriller. Mammootty will appear as the under world don named Akbar Alikhan. The movie which will have its shoot stated by October will also feature Fahad Fazil , Paarthipan, Rohini Hattangadi, and DJ Sekhar in other important roles. Aashiq Abu will start this movie only after completing his new film ' Idukky Gold' , which will be on sets by next month.
Mammootty and Meera Jasmine was last seen together for Shyamaprasad's 'Ore Kadal' which was lapped up by the critics.
