As more of Mollywood actors are threatened by the Film chamber and producers to pull out of their TV shows, the megastar of Mollywood, Mammootty is all set to appear in one. This will be a reality show for a social cause , modelled like the 'Satyameva jayathe' show that appeared in national television. Though the star hasn't yet started the shooting , discussions and debates are prevalent in the filmy community about the righteousness of allowing Mammootty to appear in a television show , while many other stars are banned for appearing in some reality shows.
It is learned that Mammootty's entry into the small screen had also led to a meeting between the Mollywood actors' forum, Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA), and the newly elected representatives of Kerala Film Chamber (KFC), which will resolve the matter and introduce changes in the 2002 clause that prohibits actors from appearing in TV shows.
