Kerala's first multiplex at Kochi

The first multiplex in Kerala opened yesterday at Kochi.

Situated at the Oberon Mall, the premier show and the screens were inaugurated by Kerala's youth icon, Prithviraj. The Cinemax multiplex will have four screens which will seat 159, 117, 168 and 177 seats respectively.

The tickets in this multiplex will range from rupees 80 to two hundred and fifty. The first movie to be shown in Cinemax was Prithvi's new, movie in theatres 'Thanthonny'. The cities of Kozhikode and Ernakulam are getting equipped with more multiplex centers in the near future, which will help to overcome the shortage of movie screens in these major release centres.
Its time for cinema lovers in the state to rejoice. Cinemax has opened a multiplex, the first of its kind in Kerala at Cochin.

The Cinemax multiplex at Oberon mall at Edapally was inaugurated today by dashing young star Prithviraj. The multiplex would have four screens.

Situated on the fourth floor of Oberon mall, the multiplex has ample seat capacity. Screen One has 159, Screen Two has 117, Screen Three has 168 and Screen Four has 177 seats respectively.

The first film to be screened at the multiplex was Prithviraj's 'Thanthonni'. The theatres equipped with the latest technology have tickets ranging from eighty to two hundred and fifty rupees. With an enthusiastic start having been made at Kochi, the mutiplex cinema culture is expected to spread soon to other cities in the state as well. Let's hope this brings in some fresh energy to the film makers and viewers alike.
