‘Mayabazaar' opens in record centers

Setting new records in the number of release centers, Mammootty's Ramzan offering ‘Mayabazaar' opened in 93 centers in Kerala. Amidst the recent row between ‘A’ class theatre owners and producers associations, this heavy number of release centers will be a pointer towards what the industry is heading to, in the near future.

Even many ‘A’ class centers are listed in the release day advertisements of ‘Mayabazaar’. Though these centers may take a couple of days to start screening of the movie, the trade is an all expectations that every release centers will be forced to run the movie, ultimately.

Some centers like ‘Kuzhithara’, ‘Kallachy’, ‘Kollamkodu’, ‘Ezhupunna’ and ‘Oyoor’ are for the first time getting a release print and the fans there are all set to celebrate the arrival of a big new movie in their home theatres.

This according to trade experts will bring in a new enthusiasm and renewed interest on release cinema to the people of these villages. With good preview reports, ‘Mayabazaar’ directed by debutante Thomas Sebastian, is expected to fetch great initials in the opening week.
