After a lot of problems,MB finally made it to theatres today. After
the opening show, saw fans enjoying in front of the theatre. I went
into theatres expecting a festival entertainer,something like AT.. But
was surprised to see comedy elements were lesser..
Movie started off well..I liked the way director presented the
titles... Mammukka's intro scene was simple,but the scene following
that was the usual heroic stuff. After that 1st half dragged with
comedy scenes not bringing out any laughter..Interval scene had a good
twist. But athoke Nana magazine'il ittu polichu
Felt second half was interesting with Rameshan investigating abt the
other character.. After a sequence of events,everything becomes
predictable & leads to the usual fight sequence at the end..
For an actor like Mammotty,there is nothing gr8 for him to perform in
this movie.Still as Rameshan,mammukka was cool & other character was
presented differently. Kalabavan Mani was good. idichu kuthi peyum
dialogue climax'il Mani parayum.. It received good applause..
Suraj,rajan p dev & Biju kuttan was ok. Salim Kumar,Janardhanan was
wasted. Both Maya & Tisca chopra looked,but athikam perform cheyan
onnum illa..
Music suited the mood of the movie..TAR's script-compared to Parunthu
is better.. Nothing new.. It must be his 1st entertainer as
scriptwriter.. But ithu pole kore entertainers vannitondennu paavam
TAR arinjillennu thonunnu Direction was just ok.
On the whole,eniku feel cheythathu "an avg 1st half with a twist b4
interval.. An interesting 2nd half with a predictable ending".
Verdict: An OK masala flick.

Saw Maya Bazaar today from Thiuvananthapuram Kairali. The movie is gud to watch.It was released only in Kairali and Sri. was not released in the scheduled 'SL' Theatres. The show started at 10.30am.It has 2.15hrs.The fans were eagerly waiting for the release. They were roaring like anything with slogans.As the suspense was broken(in double role) the fans was expecting a twist in that suspense too. But nothing is found.Now I think.... what was the need for that fu_king director to break the suspense earlier itself. Otherwise it would hav scored like anything.Anyway it haven't disappointed any of ikka's die hard fans.As Kurekshetra was not released today this film got much media attention too.It was aired in asianet afternoon news also. It carries a gud report everywhere.
But in the layman's point of view ...it may lack variety.infact, a sort of variety does exist in the movie but it could not be portrayed truely by the director.Anyway the ultimate verdict will be of the layman's, rather than the ones of fans like us.
So according to me the ultimate verdict will be 'GOOD'.
