However it was wrong on Thilakan's part to have taken a stand against the association that exists for the welfare of the artistes, Mukesh said.
Artistes are creative people who are likely to be impulsive in their reactions. Any person is likely to react if someone follows him continuously and beats him. One cannot find fault with the reactionary behavior of a person in such a situation, said Mukesh.
Mukesh also spoke in support of AMMA, when he said that every organization has certain rules and regulations. Therefore it wouldn't be right to blame AMMA if it took action against a member who was acting against its rules.
Mukesh is the Vice-President of AMMA, and is the first person in the association who has offered support to Thilakan. Earlier Megastar Mammootty in his appeal for peace had requested Thilakan to be with the organization, than stand aside and be against it.
