Mammootty bails out Henry’s ‘Vande Maataram’

Producer Henry, who has made many significant films in Tamil, has been struggling for quite some time now to release his film 'Vande Maataram', which stars for the first time 'action king' Arjun and Malayalam superstar Mammootty together. The film has Anjana and Sneha as heroines opposite the two stars.
Henry is struggling with the release of 'Vande Mataram' as he is still burdened by the many loans he had taken to minimize the losses suffered in his earlier films (good ones, though!). Mammootty, in an apparent effort to bail Henry out, is said to have provided him Rs.20 lakhs to help him release the film as per schedule. In return, though, Mammooty is said to have procured the release rights of the film in Dubai and in its Malayalam version.
Mammootty a.k.a. Muhammad Kutty is a Muslim by birth and is said to be having a huge fan following in the Muslim-dominated Gulf countries and Arab countries. To tap this, Mammootty is said to be planning to release the film by September 10th in Gulf.
