Pazhassi Rajablu-ray-Quick Review

Video (Rating - 3):The quality of 'Pazhassi Raja' blu-ray is a mixed bag. It ranges from scenes that are downright horrific to scenes that can be pretty amazing. The dark scenes are a pain to watch. It is plagued by pitiful black levels, heavy noise/grain, etc. There were a few crisp scenes with amazing detail, but OVERALL, mediocre.2.35:1, 1080p Full HD, 16:9, AVCThe bitrate hovered around 23-24 Mbps (Those are pretty average)

.
Audio (Rating - 4):Audio was better in comparison to video. DTS HD Audio 5.1 sounded full and detailed. The bitrate averaged to about 4 Mbps. Surround channels were active throughout the movie, and the battle scenes were amazing! The only gripe is that at some instances the surround channels were louder than the front, and center channels. Also the BGM was a bit too loud, so a decrease in the 'db's' would be a good idea.
