Another Onam without M&M

Yet are into yet another Onam season which will not feature a Mammootty or Mohanlal film.This is the second consecutive year with out Onam films in the almost three decade career of these big super stars .But as these two haven't delivered any big collecting films , trade is already after lesser stars to create wonders for Onam.

Unlike the last Onam season which was a horror show for Mollywood commercial movies, with off beat films like Thalappavau, thirakkatha and Thavalam making the best out of Onam collections, this year at least half a dozen movies are in the fray to celebrate Onam with movie goers. The important ones in the race includes Jayaram-Akku Akbar team's Kaanakanmani, Jagadheesh' -Abraham Lincoln's ''Decent parties'',KalabhavanMani-jayasuriyas's Oru black and white kudumbam'' and sureshgopi-Pashupathi teaming up for Vairam.

Mamootty's next release will be '' Pazhassi raja'' which will get censored by this week end and will get to theaters by September 18.Prithviraj's '' Robinhood ''will grace the theatres on September 19 while Mohanlal will have ''Angel john'' or Alexander the Great '' for Ramadan period.
