As a genuine fan of all the actors of Malayalam cinema and a great fan of Ikka, I wud like to add something about movie, this is become one of my favorite movie of Ikka with a single watch in an ordinary local theatre. So that I don't want to tell anything more abt theatre status which is normal for a star film in location like Irinjalakuda.
About the movie I am speechless bcoz I wud have to travel to the heights and depths to find the ways to express a stylish movie in Malayalam, that's too from our megastar mammookka. In all the way Ikka rocks in the movie and I respect him for selecting such different subjects, roles and his commitment to make it to the most extreme output. Mammokka really knows the pulse of Malayalam audience and he has got guts, balls and confident to do such healthy roles in his own variety styles by satisfying all the fans, all the audiences including children, youth and family audiences. This is what Malayalam Industry waited for, the changes in film making through debutant Directors who are very much needed for Malayalam cinema like Tamil or other South Indian language films.
The movie is a mixed stuff of family drama, comedy, sentiments, action and some other stylish possessions by the actors, technicians and Ashik Abu and frinds (Shows at the end titles). Ikka did a wonderful job through out the movie with his incredible acting performance, dazzling stylish looks, and many more…, and become a must watch movie.
It is not a great achievement to make maximum number of films in a year, but of course a film which is cherished through out in the career of an actor which Ikka is very much keen and doing such roles. Daddy cool is one of the film which comes in the same genre.
About others, master Dhananjay did a great job, Biju Menon, Vijayaraghavan, Baburaj, Saikumar, Ashish, Daniel, Suraj, actor who acted the role of Srikanth, Richa, Radhika and all others did a very good job. And here comes the time to wish a New young Director who is a gift for the Industry, Ashik Abu needed some special appreciation, then by this Sameer Thahir become an experienced by doing choreography for two stylish films which Malayalam films ever got. Music is also extra ordinary from Bijipal., Actions by Anal Arasu sound design by Tapas naik, editing by A Sajan, Art by Suresh kollam and Publicity media works by Papaya also remarkable…! Also a request to Marikar film, Plz give maximum publicity and promotions for the film so that this could be one of the top grocer for ever.
Let me conclude this review by remembering those Malayalam Technicians who left us in the last few days including Lohithadas, Rajan P Dev and Murali who given predominant service and concern to the Malayalam Film Industry. We mammookka fans salutes you and remembering you on the time of success of DADDY COOL..!
