Scriptwriter T A Razak who has penned several successful scripts is finally donning the role of a director. And his maiden directorial venture would feature none other than Mammootty in the lead role.
Razak plans to create a unique character for Mammootty, but would tell a family story. He is currently busy scripting Prithviraj's film 'Pakaram Vanna Raajavu'. Razak hopes to start the shoot of his film by the end of the year.
Razak has scripted several films like Perumazhakalam, Uthaman, Kaanakinavu, Vesham, Parunthu, Ayirathil Oruvan, Bus Conductor and Raapakal.
There have been several scriptwriters who had turned directors in the past as well. However it has been often seen that they do not excel in the direction as much as they do in their writing.
Let's wait and see if Razak proves to be an exception to this rule.
